Dignity designed into public infrastructure

Siddhali Anup Shah is working towards public washrooms exclusively for women that treat safety, health, hygiene and dignity as central design requirements.

The proposal includes air-conditioned facilities, changing rooms, modern amenities, IoT-enabled systems and CCTV surveillance to support safety, monitoring and maintenance.

More than a basic facility

This is a proposed area of work, not a completed service or currently available facility. Its aim is to ensure women’s needs are not treated as an afterthought in public infrastructure.
